The greatest player of all time, there was no one like him and don't think we will get to see someone as good as him in the next 20-30 years if at all.
I wanted a more romantic ending for him to end his career in Barcelona and not go after the big money. Too bad. I was also sure that at some point he would wear our beautiful jersey, and that didn't happen either. Too bad.

I get it. But all semi-retired players go to MLS eventually. He could have got the same deal after a year. Idk for me it's gone too soon. He schooled many world class defenders in world cup. Could have had a year or two atleast in Europe. Anyway he was the best player I have ever seen.
 
He’s confirmed Inter Miami himself too. Said he wanted to go to Barcelona but heard they’d have to sell players/others lower their wages and thought he’d be in the same position again as he was last time. If not Barcelona then nowhere else in Europe.

He’ll piss it over there.

Sidenote, how scandalously unimaginative is ‘Inter Miami’ as a name? Sounds like a shit FPL name. Not much imagination between those Beckham ears.
 
His quotes are a bit daft - he said the move is to think about his family, he didn't enjoy the last 2 years and Barca would end up in a financial hole.

Really don't have much sympathy as he and his dad made the choice to join PSG. He was paid an obscene amount at Barca which helped get them into a financial mess and he then was paid an obscene amount at PSG.

It wasn't Messi's salary that put Barca in financial trouble. It was the absurd money they were paying everyone else.
