They can't cash in if he can walk for free - obviously, they would save quite a bit in wages but they'll never replace the production across multiple players

Sid Lowe had a pretty concise/accurate take for me, Leo doesn't talk much much less conduct many interviews - except for when he has something he wants to get off his chest.

As you can see, shortly after the interview where he said he was definitely not available for Valencia, with no time frame on returning, he suddenly travels & plays 30 min in CL. The ankle injury alone had an odd evolution/course.

Something still does not appear right but Messi is not easy to read apart from recognizing there is an oddity to goings on. Plus, Puyol has allegedly pulled himself out of consideration for SD which was one of the points Leo made. Victor Font, who wants to run for President prior to the elections in 2021, speculates Puyol wants nothing to do with this board - a take I don't disagree with

Do you think Barca would accept an offer for him in the summer if he asked to leave?
