City bid for Messi

According to our sources, Manchester City have made enquires regarding Lionel Messi. We understand the club owners are ready to make world record bid for the superstar. This information has come from a trusted reporter who is close to the club; the source believes the starting bid would be around £110 million. We believe the bid will be submitted in the summer.
This info is 100% spot on. We would pay a little more than £110m but not a great deal more I suspect. And that should be enough.

Next you'll be telling me that Jennifer Aniston is on her way to mine for a bit of special time.

Hang on, there's someone impatiently knocking at my door......
Don't take too long with Jen. We need you down at Barton Airport.

Can't see us signing Messi and we're best off not deluding ourselves into thinking it is going to happen anytime soon. If it did happen though, I think I would genuinely cry with joy.

You could flip that delusional comment by saying Barcelona or Real Madrid have no chance in signing Aguero in the next couple of season. As painful as it sounds don't rule anything out in football and start saving for your hankies just in case.

If Messi comes here Aguero isn't going anywhere. Best friend, godfather to his kid and national teammate.

I would love that to happen but there is bound to be a catch if we did sign Messi.

Maybe but not one that would involve Aguero.

Sergio and Messi would have to play with one leg tied to each other everytime they play,to give the rest a chance :-)

I thought his buyout was 200m+? I don't think Barcelona would sell for less than 200m
Think 200m is an absurdly large amount even for us and barca wouldn't be negotiating from a position of strength if Messi decides he wants a new challenge
