Quite funny looking at their stats last season. Rodgers was sacked after getting 12 points from 8 games, which is 1.5 points per game. In his 30 games in charge, Klopp added 48 points which is 1.6 points per game. You'd expect a good manager to do better than that, even with the same group of players. .
It is very strange why they are so happy with Klopp. Will be interesting to see how he fares having had a full pre season plus a summer transfer window to buy his own players. There are no real excuses next season.Quite funny looking at their stats last season. Rodgers was sacked after getting 12 points from 8 games, which is 1.5 points per game. Probably not, but Liverpool has always caused us big problems. I mean in 2010-11 season when they had Daglish (?) as manager we got beat 3-0 at Anfield. and Rodgers' Liverpool even though we never lost heavily, caused us problems.Part of it is down to them focusing on the Europa League. Rodgers wouldn't have won 4-1 at Etihad and 3-0 at Anfield. No team has defeated us so badly in this season. Thankfully, we played very well in the COC final and restored some pride.
Especially when he unleashed the world famous Anfield crowd on us, which resulted in our coach windows being bricked on the way home.and Rodgers' Liverpool even though we never lost heavily, caused us problems.
Oh, you mean the match before we played the rags at Wembley on the Saturday?Probably not, but Liverpool has always caused us big problems. Personally, I'm glad our boys saved their energy for the big occasion :-)Yeah, we were fucking turd and Lionel Carroll had our defence wrapped around his finger
