Their most important isn't Coutinho, it's Firmino. So impressed with him and tbh I didn't think he'd make it in England.

Just been kicking off at my local WHSmiths demanding to know why the book on scouse culture wasn't in?

"It's not our fault" stammered the cashier.

"Yeah that's the one"

Unlike us, at the moment they bury their chances.

I hope the roles reverse very soon.

Nightmare
Modern football fans eh....fucking nightmare.

They look good going forward, which is good, because they look shit at the back. They are one or two key injuries away from bang average, as they were earlier in the season.

Yes, they have a fluidity to their game that we also possess, but they are dependent upon Coutinho, Lallana and Firminho for almost everything they generate, and have added Sane to their front line for speed and finishing. They are looking good, to be sure, but it is a long season.

One of my biggest concerns is that neither Chelsea nor Liverpool have European football to get in the way of their assault on the League.

Looking at managers stats. It won't be a draw when we play them:

Head-to-Head record:
Total Meetings 8
Pep Guardiola Wins 4
Draws 0
Jurgen Klopp Wins 4

One of those was a cup final draw which Dortmund won on penalties. And 2 of Klopp's wins in that 4 were in the German charity shield. Pep has the edge in the head to head.

Agreed but he is the main man who the others feed off, I believe that they key to stopping them is to stop Coutinho, and I think he is also a bit of a mard arse when things get meaty.
When that happens (teams do it all the time) he drops deep and swap places with Can, Lallana or Wijnaldum. They run into the open space behind him. And all of the sudden someone else assists and scores.

Just like all other players are starting to do. That is the thing, Liverpool doesn't use one specific pattern or one specific player. They use constant movement and switch places, to force opponents out of position and open space. And it is slowly improving.
