I think the big difference could be, that with Suarez gone, we took their best player(not that they will admit it) where as they got a fringe player of ours. it's down to class as fans tho because I don't remember booing swp when he came back with Chelsea and he was the cherry on top of our cake and we didn't have a cake just a cherry

SWP didn't get booed because he didn't want to go, we had to sell him because we were skint. Last season Millner wasn't booed but I think he would deserve some stick this season as he has acted like a prick.

Re Milner: He always gave his all in a blue shirt and he helped us win trophies. I will never boo him.
Agree he is a twat now; greed and lies. I'll leave him to live with that

If Chelsea lose to Pool and Arsenal in their next two games and we win then we are only six behind. Easily doable and Chelsea's arse will start nipping.
Even if Chelsea only get another30 points from 48. we would need 43 from 48. very unlikely.

You're ignoring the fact that two defeats against two thought clubs with us winning means we are six behind them.

We also play them again possibly reducing it to 3 and 3 points over the remainder of games isn't a huge issue.

I'm not saying it's probable but larger gaps have been reeled in.

I actually think losing 6/8 would put him under some serious levels of scrutiny.

He won't get the same sort of smugness Pep losing gets, because he's not Pep, and he doesn't have Pep's rep for winning so it's not as satisfying seeing him fail for the media, but the heat will be turned up.

Additionally, he's not managing Manchester City!

We've been on a 10 game run once already this season, the defence has actually tightened up if you exclude the Everton fiasco, Sané is getting hot, Jesus could provide a boost both on the pitch and mental, Kompany is back for now, and Fernandinho is returning.

It's not likely but it's not impossible, and if we were to win our next 5 (west ham, swansea, bournemouth, sunderland, stoke) and Chelsea dropped a few, then all of a sudden, we'd be up to 2nd or 3rd and only 6 points off the leaders.

And if that happens then the mood changes, confidence goes skyrocketing and you never know what could happen.
