I actually think losing 6/8 would put him under some serious levels of scrutiny.

I couldn't have put it any better myself!! He is a bang average footballer that runs around all day and works hard, granted, but then that should be a minimum requirement for a footballer anyway! Spot on. Just because "the most knowledgeable fans in football"™ do it, doesn't make it right. I wasn't happy with his actions at the time (still not, if I'm honest) but it happened. He's gone, we'll get over it. I would suggest that Liverpool, Everton and Villa fans do the same re. players that left them to come to us.

I think the big difference could be, that with Suarez gone, we took their best player(not that they will admit it) where as they got a fringe player of ours. it's down to class as fans tho because I don't remember booing swp when he came back with Chelsea and he was the cherry on top of our cake and we didn't have a cake just a cherry
