Last time we won it was over 20 years ago so I think we are in the stronger position.

I think the squad is appalling but I also think we don't have a midfielder of the calibre of Gerrard, Scholes or Lampard. We also lack a quality CF.

Couthinio, Lallana, mane and firminio are good but too much is being asked of them.

We need at least one quality recognised CF.

Yeah you could do with a player of gerrards calibre in your team I'm certain he would have added another premier league winners medal to his collection

Think the main problem for liverpool is there owners they wont spend big plus big wages in top players oh and they have to compete with teams that a top player would rather go to!

FSG are an investment group - their motives are pretty transparent and I don't think they try to hide anything.
They are willing to invest to a point - but they didn't reckon on the competition in the PL being so strong and with the likes of City and now other rivals spending as much as they have.
That's left them with a very big club - much larger than City (at present), but little room for significant growth. They'd almost certainly rather adopt the Arsenal model of spending little to maintain the status quo and aim for a corporate and tourist fan base willing to spend more on matchdays. CL is still a bit money earner though, and that's the problem for them - how to get just the right balance to stay in CL with the minimum spend (a la Arsenal). It's a tough task and becoming ever tougher.

If he had other quality players on the bench then he could still play those tactics but with out it being predictable.

This has probably been picked up already, but if the bench players were able to play the same as your first eleven, then your style of play would be entirely predictable.

You look back 20 yrs,all your fans bang on about history,it means nothing,you are only as good as your recent history and your current form,we have won the league twice since 2012 and a couple of cups as well so you look back and we will look fowards

1990 they last won it, nearly 30 years. Haha
