All of that has a ring of truth to it, and quite frankly, it could have happened to any of a number of English clubs at that time (including Chelsea!) - it's the mealy mouthed, inconsistent and intellectually dishonest way that Liverpool FC as an institution (and those associated with the club) have spoken about and addressed the tragedy in the last 32 years that particularly rankles with many, I imagine.As I said, both sets of fans were attacking each other. It's simply not the case that it was all Liverpool. The only innocents in this tragedy were those Juve fans who were nowhere near the "front line", so to speak. And, sadly, they were the ones who paid the ultimate price. The Juve hools who were attacking Liverpool section and who then retreated were every bit as guilty of causing the tragedy as the Liverpool hools who were attacking the Juve section and who then advanced.
