Pep taking him off towards the end at Everton smacked of saving his legs?

Salah might have to defend out wide a bit deeper to protect Alexander though against Sane.

Salah can cause problems for whoever plays there. They will need help anyway.
I'm sure who gets the job will do just fine.

One thing I have noticed this year is that Pep appears to have learned lessons from last year, we have addressed a lot of issues from last season and I am confident that he will have a sound game plan for tomorrow night. I have a feeling the game will finish 2:2.

Dont think he was ever going to start tomorrow. But if he's not fit enough for the bench tomorrow then he isnt going to be fit enough to start on saturday.
