I would agree all that talk of him being nervous at klanfield, but there are good reasons to play Bernardo Silva.Despite his poor performances at Anfield in the past there’s no way I’d be leaving Sterling out tonight.
Hopefully Pep will put his arm around him and give him the confidence and opportunity to shut the scousers up.
The thought of him scoring or even better getting the winner surely outweighs the possibility of him having a quiet game.
Also, any over-the-top challenges to get the crowd on side you’d hope would result in cards being shown.
Sterling has already shown mental toughness throughout the season and this will only go towards his character building, which will stand him in good stead for the rest of his City career
