A Desmond for me. And a 3-1 home win in the 2nd leg. Sergio hat trick
The arrogance and entitlement of these twats is almost beyond belief. I think I have reached the point where I hate them even more than the Rags. At least some rags are level-headed, and at least the Rags have won the title within living memory.
I hope we smash them, as it will shut them up. At least for a couple of months.
That’s what I’d do, too. Jesus makes clever runs and dont forget the brilliant pressing which Liverpool will not like.Jesus completes passes which Aguero doesn’t even see. In a game where we need to make sure not to give the ball away cheaply we can’t afford to have Sergio running into dead ends with his head down.
Jesus v Pool
Serg v Rags
Yeah I’ve been saying this for a while. They’re a weird fan base. Think the rags fans have been humbled since Fergie left, they’re not that bad nowadays.Agree wholeheartedly. Find their fan base much more unbearable.
In the 4-3 earlier this year we didn’t have silva. He was on the bench but didn’t play. I think that was a huge factor
I think lessons have been learnt after that game, just as pep learnt a valuable lesson from the Everton score last season. He will be aware we had a crazy 10 or so minutes where the players arses went. Hopefully they have more confidence this time and expect Liverpool to attack. Liverpool will be nervous too, it’s a huge gameAnd no Jesus. Aguero was lost at Anfield.
I like thisApart from being the better team we could also play it very shrewdly at klanfield. Draw the fouls in get them booked and make their players start thinking twice about getting too close.
We had him in NapoliDecent ref isn’t he,has he reffed any of our games or Liverpool’s before ..
Cheers hopefully a good omen would take the scoreline as well...We had him in Napoli
Thankfully we had a pleasant pressure free kickabout at fat sams on Saturday so we have a full squad to pick from.
Guardiola won’t change the way he sets up his teams,he doesn’t do pragmatic so we will be coming to Anfield to attack
Decisions he needs to make are whether we go 3 at the back and attack with wingbacks or a more traditional 4
Does he play Stirling who’s been intimidated each return to Anfield or does he trust him more now he’s playing with confidence
Do we go with Jesus & the greater work rate or Aguero who’s more of a goal threat?
I think we will look at getting Sane up against Alexander Arnold as much as possible so I think we will probably play Bernardo Silva more central rather than Raheem on the right wing and use Kyle walker for width on the right
Ederson
Otamendi Kompany Laporte
Walker Fernandinho DeBruyne Sane
B Silva D Silva
JESUS
Would be my guess as a starting 11
Should be 2 great ties
