Nervous but excited. Think we’ll finally do em at Anfield with Silva and Komps back.

Would pay anything to be 3-0 up after 30 minutes and see how quiet the fckers are.
 
Can't wait to see our boys playing in a famous European night at Anfield. Along with the UEFA fine for having the audacity to take the piss out of the stage managed YNWA pre kick off.
 
I’m fucking nervous about this game. Hate the scousers and I hate our record at Anfield. This was the worst draw for me. If we can weather the inevitable early storm and defend without error, then we should be ok.

Merlin being available is huge for us as he will help us keep the ball against their press earlier. The otter with his diagonal out ball to Leroy could be a good outlet for us too.

Come on City.

Lot better than the dream i had last week before the Everton game. We were 2 - 0 down and I was going mental with Pep,
because he had started with both Lukaku and Rooney.

Honestly that would be what I’d imagine heaven to be like. Nice cup of tea, sit back and watch us take the piss out of them.
 
First tackle, go to ground and stay there; get referee to blow. Slow game down thereafter for the first 20 minutes with every contact leading to a foul and play disrupted. Proper European football.

They are clinging on to the 4-3 where let’s face it we gifted them 3 goals.

That won’t happen again.

If we turn up and do our thing we’ll absolutely fuck them all over the show.
 
i do think we will lose this one and turn them over in manchester going through on goals but thats just the old city coming back to haunt me after 40 years of watching us, just as likely we will suff them 0-3

Did the joint team thing this morning and even trying to be even handed Salah was the only one of theirs I put in, but that was mainly because of Sterlings problems against them and the possibly freak season Salah is having.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but Sam Lee saying Pep has been saying in private that he will rest players for the derby to prioritise the Liverpool matches.
 
Don’t let them have the ball for the first 10 minutes, weather the early storm, and grind them down much like we did last time, but without the mad 10 minutes!
Pep should have a word with the ref about not being influenced by the Anfield horde, as they will surely use every dirty trick in the book to get to the ref.
I’m sure Pep has, and will be, analysing ways to nullify Liverpool, and making sure we don’t have another mad 10 minutes

Hopefully he will play a lineup strong enough to beat the rags. I would hate losing against those twats, even if we will win the league regardless
