Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

Nunes has been one of the least worst in the last month or so but he was fucking tragically soft today. Even when he didn’t lose the ball like a wimp, he crossed it to nobody.

I remember when we were in for him and a Wolves fan came on here pissing his sides and said he’s the biggest fanny he’s ever seen.

This has been a debacle to be very honest. And now its on the board to act.

A serious club would invest 100 mil in this window to immediate help the team and I am waiting with baited breath for this. Pep can stay for another 15 years because he is irreplaceable but our more than half the team needs replacing or atleast a good kick in the back.

And for people who think clubs don't find good options in January - Yes 99.9% clubs wouldn't be able to do good business in Jan window. But we belong in the 0.1% now. Guess its time to act like that.
It's certainly much harder in January and I strongly suspect that players of any great quality are going to want to wait until the verdict relating to the FA charges is handed down first before penning a deal. My gut feeling is that has hampered our business in the last two summers and that is why we've ended up with some pretty average players by our standards. We're not going to get back to anything like where we should be until this whole affair is over.

It's a season too far for a fair few players. Age and burnout has caught up with them after the last few magnificent years which is probably understandable. I'd say we need five top class signings at least to get back to the top. Three in defence, at least one in midfield and another striker. This is needed because our recent recruits have underperformed, a couple massively.
Tough decisions will have to be taken on a few star names who've served us well. Father time catches up with everybody in the end.
I think even the most optimistic expected is to get beaten today, but for some poor finishing and Ortega it could have been worse.
Top four is now a fight and atm we need to somehow scab a few wins.

Behave, the title run is over, just a hard cold fact.

Getting top 4 with the present situation would be another Pep masterclass.
Never say never, there were glimpses today of improvement.

Dias back, Doku looked tricky

Title is unlikely but they look nowhere near a good as an on form Tarquins performance.
Reckon there are 2 bottle job teams believing they will win the title this season, gonna be interesting.

Looking forward to Wednesday already.
