Watching MNF and I don't know why Eddy didn't go sliding in for that under hit backpass.

You'd think last week where he made a fantastic last ditch tackle on Garnacho and with his weaker foot would've have influenced him to run the same race again.
There are occasions when his decision making is open to question. He used to (still does at times?) have a habit of rushing out off his line. Yes; Ake did him no favours with the undercooked back pass. But going in for the challenge the way he did, was always only going to end up one way. Even taking the Anfield factor into account, it was a nailed on penalty.

I have a feeling Ederson isn’t the sharpest tool in the box.

I've watched the Doku penalty incident about 100 times today. I'm still unsure.

And that is probably why var has stayed with the on field decision . Flipping close though. I do wonder how I would feel if that was Robertson on Foden....

What I am sure about is the indecision to head the thing in the first place was mental.

To be fair, Doku just looked sheepish.

Robertson would have stood over Foden, venomously shouting with spit addled breath, then accidentally "fallen" elbow first on to his head, got up, accidentally kicked him, and then run away cackling.

Whichever way the call went on the pitch, VAR wouldn't have overturned it. You can see both sides of the argument. I'd have been screaming for a penalty if it happened at the other end.

I bet this c*nt still lives at home with his Mam , he never leaves the f*cking house and attends a football match that is certain , absolute f*cking Irish shithead with the memory of a goldfish. It was only last week his cheating team robbed Forest of a valuable point , when the ball was dropped their flash in the pan keeper should have given possession back to Forest , but he didnt he f*cking cheated. Dippers have no self awareness there was at least a dozen of them blubbing on Talkshite this morning , the Dippers love playing the victim they have so much practice over the years , they have interflora on speed dial for their wreaths.

Yes i agree, var wasn't going to over turn it either way (much to the dismay of the football is fixed crew). I would have screamed the pub down if it was us at the other end :)

He went to a game once and they lost, he used to have a partner but they fell out, I only know this as somebody posted the clips lol

Though in the day of firesticks who the fuck watches these dipshits instead of the game.

Yes but would there have been the equivalent of the Spanish Inquistion the next day ? if we had a penalty turned down it would have been instanty forgotten and brushed under the carpet and not played on a 24 hour loop on Sky Sports. Surprised there hasnt been a statement from the club demanding a replay , that would be a bad idea because we couldnt play as poorly again for 45 minutes , so take the draw Dippers and thank your lucky stars that we had a bad day at the office.
Looking forward to meeting them at the Etihad next year and their search for a league victory , its only been 10 years.
