But i thought they got away with a lot in that game, some really tough challenges that usually would have been pulled up and that would have taken the bite out of the game as well as quietened the crowd. Stones is just weak.No way that was a foul.Shoudler barge.This isn't la liga
 
A bad day at the office, very sloppy possession at times. I've not seen us give the ball away so cheaply in a long time. We're allowed the odd off game and unfortunately yesterday there were 5/6 players having a really bad day
 
We got beat , get over it, hats off to Liverpool for having a go , lessons will be learnt, we move on to the next game , it’s not the end of the world .
 
City didn't get into top gear offensively and when put under pressure the defence buckled too many times. Too many mistakes. It was bound to happen sooner or later losing a game. How they respond to that will be the measure of them. I don't think you have anything to worry about in the league, the CL though? Thats a different story if the defence doesn't tighten up.

The laws of the game regarding shoulder barges were changed a couple of years ago. That notwithstanding, had it been ‘shoulder to shoulder’ I might have been inclined to agree with you, but it wasn’t. Firmino came in behind Stones at a 45 degree angle and barged Stones in the back. Have to say though, I wouldn’t have given a foul either. It was minor stuff. Stones knew roughly where Firmino was, should have been expecting a challenge, and given how close they both were to the City goal, should have taken better charge of the situation than he did. Your boys played well yesterday, but we fucking gift wrapped all 4 goals. Our worst defensive display of the season by a distance
 
Fatigue is the reason why we lost, not an excuse but the fact we played midweek while they were having a sunny break made the difference.
We were alway one step late on every move and couldn’t match their energy level.
