Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread.

Two clown defending gifts + stones error + some players not on it, but trying to put a positive slant on things, this is probably the best game for those things to happen. It means we have played our worse fixture, gets that monkey off our backs re unbeaten( beginning to think it was affecting players). We didnt fold at 4-1 down which shows how strong this team is, league position is still fantastic, and Pep knows that winning things in the long run is more important and can use this to galvanize the squad for the real tests to come. Plus, Pool are now putting pressure on the rags as a result. Oh, and who of us would not have given their right arm to be where we are now back at the start of the season.

Im not sure if he had a bad day today, or if he has indeed fallen off the rails.

Lacking in speed, intensity, accuracy, keeping the ball ... I'm trying to remember what he didn't mess up today. Can't.
I don't know how many times he has to play like this for people to realise they're not just bad days.

Forget the scoreline and league position, that was a shitshow, abysmal in fact. That is hopefully the reality check we needed, because we have been dodgy for the last 3-4 weeks. On the other side this was always a toughie and the scousers having 9 days to prepare hasn't helped. A couple of our starters today need to get their shit sorted though and stop fucking daydreaming in key areas at critical moments.

Sterling is too weak mentally to play vs liverpool. Hate to say it but he was outclassed by robertson today, failed to do the basics and let the crowd get to him.

Sorry but anyone who thinks Raheem Sterling is mentally weak is a fucking clown.

Stones dreadful yet again
Another goal he has cost us. Sterling should never play against Liverpool again. He gets bullied out of the game and can't hack it.

Rubbish performances from some.
