Pep maybe actually happy we have the unbeaten tag of our back......he always says he learns more when looking for the reactions of players to difficult moments......He uses phrases like this regularly so I don't think he will be to concerned by the loss.....its the reaction that will either please him or concern him.....even lee dixon mentioned it in commentary at the point we were 4-1 down...he said something about Pep not changing his approach (and we know he wont) and that he would use the rest of the game as a training exercise to see how he can respond......

No surprise it wasn't given, anyone remember the penalty for the dippers a few years back when it was blasted at Dunne from a couple of yards even then it hit his knee before his arm

we had to have at least 7 players have stinkers for a team to beat us 4-3, in their cup final.

Too many mistakes at the back, too much dawdling on the ball and too many sloppy passes even from usually reliable passers like Fernandinho and Gundogan. It really feels like we gifted them a game that we could have won.

At least it's out of our system now and we can hopefully regroup ready for the next game.

Liverpool are a cup team.

Great in one off games against good sides.

Incredibly inconsistent over a season when they have to play the run of the mill games.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they make the semi’s of the CL this season.

They are 18 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Agree to some extent, but some players relish shoving it right down their throats, others (sterling) wilt at the first sign of it.

Spot on about Sterling. Think Sane did show he could take the game to them though. Scored out of nowhere and created another.

Should’ve played same as the striker and took of Kun. When Sane went central he looked more dangerous than Kun had the whole game.
