Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

I’ve been reading all this how pep paid an ultimate respect to flopp by not conceding on Sunday. In other words the media across are pushing this motion that pep chicken out coz we didn’t go full on kamikaze.
Desperate fuckers . In fact Pep started with all out attacking team as usual whereas dippers played with three hackers in the middle and only three attacking players.
Pep could’ve played Laporte on left but instead went with not fully fit Mendy for more attacking option.
So who is the one shitting the pants here ?

This is similar to Chelsea away win last season even though we drew on Sunday.

Very mature performance, clean sheet and should have been 3 points but penalty misses happen.

Liverpool were completely nullified, this is the approach that should be taken in big CL games, don’t play too open with the fullbacks pushing but let them contain their attacker.

Most wont see it now but this draw will bring further belief to the squad and I’m absolutely loving this pragmatic approach. It’s needed for some games and was perfectly executed on Sunday. Ref clearly favored the home team, many yellow card fouls not given, clear hand ball by VVD not given, Lovern foul on Kun is debatable.

Didn't KDB cleanly strike the post when he took a penalty during a match for us?

No, but it was far too close to the centre of the goal at a comfortable height and the goalie easily swatted it away.

Not really similar to Chelsea - we were in complete control of that game and 1-0 frankly flattered them greatly. This was a very even game where neither team looked like breaking through aside from VVD's foul on Sane.

Not to mention the gargantuan money outlay they have had to expend to get our "respect"

I meant similar in stature, i.e the Chelsea game was a season defining moment, this could be the same because the pragmatic approach worked, thought City were the better team and should of had a minimum of two pentalties and Mahrez had a few decent chances to score as well other than the obvious penalty.

We could have had another penalty or two, but equally, there were some moments, especially early on, when our defence flapped a bit. Liverpool were not good or sharp enough to capitalize, but on another day, we could have been 1-0 down in the first 10 minutes yet again. Can't see any justification for saying we were the better team - and the stats tell a similar story.

But not for anyone who was at Anfield in the 1970s.

Most horrible bunch of ****s ever, bar none.

They were always nasty C.unts, remember going to Klanfield in 1974/75 and standing on the Anfield road and seeing some lad get hit with a piece of brick in the face that was chucked into our section from those loveable Scouse rogues.
After the game I got off the bus and was nearing Lime Street station when a few blokes in their late 30s wanted to fight me and lad I was with ...I was 17 and mate was 15.
Every time I have been to that shithole of a city I have had trouble..it was even worse than Leeds ffs.
I always respected Shankly and Paisley as managers but fucking hated the vermin who supported Dipperpool.
Now I can't stand the team the manager or their deluded fans.

Fernandinho should have received about 8 yellow cards
