Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

How's everyone's feet this morning?
Freezing mate.

then to top it all i have just had a real Salah reaction.

Sat down with my Brew to read the forum, cracked open a fresh packet of Custard creams, first 2 of them were in Bits.

All over the fucking the show, threw the Laptop on the Sofa in temper, and dropped to my knees on the living room carpet in Despair screaming why God,why.......

Remember that scene in platoon.

Just watching the full match replay, and Allisson had the shits 'n jitters on five minutes.
Might have rushed him back too early. The worst thing about his performance is that for both of our goals, he actually gave it away to us twice before we punished him. The sign of a great player is that they can put a mistake to the back of their mind and go on performing well. He totally let his get to him, and we've seen in the past how quickly a goalkeeper can let a few mistakes in a row turn them from a potentially world class player to someone who ends up warming the bench.

We were just better than them, it was that simple. Some aspects stood out to me.

1. I have never seen Salah so quiet in a big game, Zincho played him superbly.

2. Dias is human, his mistake though rather than damaging us, spurned us on and the togetherness we showed stood out.

3. Gundog. Missed the penalty, scored twice and never stopped with his passing , he never hid, a real testament to his character.

4. Raz made one of the "worlds" best full backs look like a sunday league player when he ran at him at him and he broke his hoodoo. An important moment

5. Rodri was immense, he dominated the midfield, made important interceptions, passed the ball intelligently and was a real physical presence, He plays very differently to Ferna but on yesterdays showing he is the heir.

6. The whole team worked so hard, everyone played their part and whilst some had games that didnt show them at their best, you can not fault any of them for their work rate and willingness to press, close down, tackle and support each other

and 7

Fuck me maybe Pep was right in what he said about Phil and Messi. He was magnificent. He is so talented it is scary,. His goal was Messi like, but what impressed me more than that, was the last minute he was still chasing back and working hard. That is ingrained in him now and he is one of our very own. He is defo making a lot of the opinionated journos who thought he would never get a chance to play/should go out on loan look very silly. I loved how Ederson ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate his goal with him, it meant a fucking awful lot to them all.

Its a nice feeling on a monday morning, lets hope our heads on the Swansea game, as their records to be broken and silverware to win.

Come on City we could win the lot again

Still on the ground mate. Just another win against a mid table side, what's all the fuss about. Finest moment apart from the whole of the second half, Klopps post match bullshit, Micah singing and RAWK meltdown has to be the way Foden turned that shitbag Robertson and fired it into the net. But fuck me we need to work on our penalties!

If yer look at the Sterling header I think I counted SEVEN red arses in the Dipper area - not including Allisson.
