I'd still have Mahrez over Jesus, still not convinced by Gabby on the rightBack 8 pretty much pick themselves. It's the front 3 where the problems lie.
Best player for the left is Foden.
For me the only player who can play centre forward and score goals is Torres.
That leaves the right hand side. Currently Jesus deserves the spot.
Not sure what has happened to Mahrez. Last year he was an automatic pick.

In which case we need more clinical midfielders.Wishful thinking on their part, how do we know that the chances created today for example would have happened if a recognised striker was playing?
Phil's finish showed how accurate he can be, and things might have been different had he showed the same prowess with his excellent chance in the first half.
The dippers don't have many players good enough for our squad, but they have pace and clinical finishers. That gets you lots of points over a season even if many come from the spot after the pacey players get tripped up by the white lines marking the penalty area. Hopefully they and the rags will have post-Christmas blips as they did last season.
