We were the better team. But for poor finishing the game would have been dead and buried in the first half. Milner should have been off. If the rules of the games had been properly applied Salah wouldn't have been able to score because that whole passage of play started with Milner winning the ball in the corner. I feel cross we didn't win, aside from their front three they are nothing special.

A good effort to battle back twice, especially given the ref was so biased.

Disappointing not to turn our first half dominance into goals though, we still desperately need a goalscorer. Our reluctance to buy a decent striker almost seems like a board decision to keep the league competitive, I really hope it isn’t that. If we had a top centre forward we’d almost be unbeatable.

However, great performance from the lads today, and what a tackle from Rodri! Well played City.

Phew. Great spirit from City to come back twice at Anfield. That little shit Tierney should be thankful we equalised after that frankly ridiculous decision not to send off Milner.
Ederson was very good in the 1st half and rubbish in the 2nd half, he's a lamp post....should be saving that Salah goal and no idea what he was doing near the end....too many errors these days
Cancelo great in the 1st half and meh in the 2nd, wafting his leg at Salah twice...
Brilliant from Foden, Silva and Gab was very good in the 2nd half.
I like to see Pep getting worked up, shows he is standing up for us and fighting our corner....
Unbeaten in two at Anfield....only lost 1 of the last 4 league games there....

Eddie not at fault on their goals.

He wasn't completely at fault for either and maybe could have done better for 2nd but Cancelo was at fault for both and isnt a good defender.
