Klopp and the home crowd will have Liverpool incredibly fired up and they'll be running like maniacs for the first 25 minutes or so. I wouldn't even try to go toe-to-toe with them on this. We should be smart, try to get the ball and keep it constantly moving without risking pushing too many men forward. Frustrate them and let them knacker themselves out and take the sting out of the crowd in the first half. Invite them onto us somewhat and i'd fancy our front four against their defence all day long if we can hit them occasionally on the break, especially with Sterling and Aguero's pace and one-on-one abilities. But mostly if we can get to half time without conceding, their intensity will drop after the 60 minute mark and this is where we can throw off the shackles, go at them and win the game.

I think you're right here we need to keep it tight first twenty minutes, play on the counter and quieten the crowd. We must match their intensity though.

I want us to win this one so bad, probably even more so than winning against the Rags.

I've just watched Football Focus on the BBC, angry disgust doesn't come close to describing my feelings after watching that Liverpool love in (I really shouldn't let it get to me). Clearly the BBC don't think even a veneer of impartiality is required, I'm used to it by now but even I was shocked with how brazen it was today.

A complete disgrace. First gushing about all things Liverpool, then 2 minutes about City, including a cake joke.

It's time to boycott this crap.

We should be used to it really and it's not likely to change anytime soon.

The Dipper/Rag fuckwits have to be fed and there are so many of them too - so five loaves and two fishes aren't going to be enough , so BBC go full out with a feeding frenzy !

Are you even remotely surprised?
