Got the butterflies for this one and it's only 9am. Couple of hours at work then fry-up and the pub to settle my stomach for a long days boozing.
There's no doubt that this Liverpool side can be very dangerous but so can we. Get The Prince into the game from the start and have runners giving him lots of options, get them on the back foot. Tight at the back for the counters and pace up front on both sides.
1-2 Yaya last minute winner.

With Sane out, Sterling is going to be even more critical in this game and predictably he can expect a "warm welcome" from the red tossers. I hope it doesn't phase him because we need a standout performance from him.

I hope we will match their intensity. Last season we lost here 3-0 and at home 1-4 hope Pep makes our players rewatch those games as many of the players will be playing today as well.

Just seen some scary stats in the paper.

most goals this season - Liverpool
most shots - Liverpool
most shots on target - Liverpool
Accuracy - 52% Liverpool
Most passes - 11,053 Liverpool
Most touches - 14,684 Liverpool

Will take a draw.

Impressive yes, but scary?

Tear the fucking skirt off yourself.

The cowards are out in force I see.
I wouldn't say I'm a coward lol, but I'm fuckin dreading this one. 2 wins at klanfield since 1956 sort of doesn't fill you with hope. I nearly hate their 'how mighty and holier than thow' fans as much as the rags. I'd bite your hand off for a draw just to shut the fuckers up.

Sorry chaps but I can only see a comprehensive defeat! :-( I think the dippers will fly at us for the first 20 mins and our defence will shit it's pants! Henderson and can will press our midfield in to making mistakes as well and I think we will lose 3-0 or 3-1. My team though:

Bravo
Sagna
Otamendi
Stones
Kolarov
Fernando
Dinho
Yaya
De Bruyne
Silva
Aguero
Thanks for sparing the time to come on Bluemoon Pep. Why the fook would anyone pick Fernando for this game? Talk about chasing shadows

We are long overdue a win, we will need to deal with their intensity from the outset. Kev is going to have a stormer and they never seem to be able to handle our Dave. Two extremely talented attacking players but by no means our only two; Yaya, Sergio, Dinho and Raheem as well. We have to believe that the tide will turn and we will break the back of this hoodoo. Play to our strengths and we are a match for any side.

Will be happy to just get a proper performance and not our usual rabbits in the headlights performance we usually give at Anfield.

Don't think we'll get anything out of this - perhaps a heroic close defeat.
That's not cowardice, that's watching football and observing the strenghs and weaknesses of both, taking into account form and where it's played.

I dont know why we bother going to turn up. Everybody in the press, on TV and virtually all on here reckon we are going to get stuffed. I think this is because we were so poor against Chelsea and Spurs (in defence). That may be true but why shouldnt we win. We have top players paid a fortune and apparently the worlds best manager.
If Pep gets his tactics right AND the players are capable of implementing them why shouldnt we get a result. If we take the game to them I am not sure they have a plan B. What is vital is that we dont allow them to score after 5 mins.
Ive said a couple of times on here I cant stand Klopp and would love it (as somebody once said) if we could shut the b.....d up.

For once I'd like to see City compete for the full 90 mins at Klanfield. Can't see it though - especially with our Keeper and Defence. The main problem though is our record at their place - Truely shocking. normally we're beat before we even start.
