Woke up this am having dreamed of a Team in Sky Blue winning 1-0 with a 90th minute goal - then realised I watched the late news -
And Napoli won 1-0.
That result would have me 'over the Blue moon' - Come on City !! - you can do it.

I am plumping for a win this time. Not quite sure why because I am usually negative towards this fixture. But it feels like we have been there-done that, our players are journeymen.... and Liverpool have suddenly realised that last night, and so did our guys. So I hope that might turn into a win for us.

I hope Sterling plays and pays them back, I hope Eddie wins the battle of the keepers, I hope Aguero outstrips Salar this season he deserves it.

Flip side to that of course if Liverpool beat us and kick start their season again, and then the media ramp up the Liverpool-Love-In.

We should better not have any motivation problems, given the injustice and hostile treatment we were subject to last season. Besides high intensity, we need to avoid the easy mistakes which were at heart of most goals they scored against us in recent times.
If we can achieve this I reckon we have have a good chance of getting a result.

Even though he’s not the most talented of players and ostensibly has the personality of an eviscerated zebra, Milner is crucial to the way in which Liverpool play. He’s one of many of their players with excellent stamina, work rate and discipline.
