That says he has only started 2/7 Premier League games and 0/2 Champions League games.

So I'm right then? Didn't realise it was wumming to state facts.

Forget the community shield and league cup yeah what a waste of talent sat on the bench week in week out...

Think he's bedding in at the moment and will get more games during the course of the season...

The Community Shield is essentially a pre season friendly and the league cup is probably the lowest on the list of priorities. But that's besides the point. My point was merely that he starts most games on the bench, which he does but I don't have a problem with it due to Sterling's form. There was nothing controversial in what I said, I paid a compliment to both Mahrez and Sterling. For what it's worth, I'm in agreement with you about him getting more starts as the season progresses.

Three at the back Mendy and Walker either side, pack the midfield. We will create something just need to make sure we take our chances and don’t get over run with the dippers headless chicken football.

5-3-2 is not the best system to pack midfield, but to offer attacking and defensive width.

If you want to pack midfield, you need a double pivot, like in 4-5-1. Having 4 at the back, not 3.

Chelsea is playing 4-3-3. 4 at the back, not 3.
Out of possession they are converting to 4-5-1.

But we know, their mid 3 are more defensive minded than our mid 3. That's the difference between us and Chelsea.

As Pep said, our players are chosen to fit our style of play, attack and possession.
We don't have the players to play like Chelsea. We would struggle.

Get me right, maybe Pep plays 5-3-2, but that's NOT packing the mid!

5-3-2 would be all out on attack, but for several reasons I doubt Pep will do. IMO.

Over to the tactic experts!

If Mendy is fit we'll be playing 3 at the back and two strikers

I think this makes sense. Not that I like having 2 strikers but Kun gets marked out of these games too easily playing up top alone.

Sterling as a false 9 perhaps? Jesus needs to step up big time if called upon.

Okay I've changed my mind.

.......................Ederson....................
...............Stones.............Laporte.........
Walker..................Dinho......................Mendy
................KDB..............D. Silva..............
Sterling......................................Sane
........................Kun...........................
