I believe that it's not their year, but ours yet again and we will prove it on Sunday.
What it will also prove is, that despite their stronger squad, they still have some catching up to do.
 
If we can survive their press in the first 30 minutes we can win. Not only will they tire in the second half but look at this stat...

I'm with you to be fair.... we just can't afford to lose a goal early or a couple of goals in quick succession like we have done there in recent times....
 
I analysed Chelski game and what Sari did well to beat the press was one touch football.
When they are not pressed they had two touch.
Liverpool soon tired as kept chasing but could not get near and posed less of a threat Took a great goal for the victims to get a point.

I hope Pep adopts same approach, we may get something from this.

The sooner this shit hole gets pulled down the better!
 
We will finish above them but as they keep demonstrating, we cannot match their power, speed and aggression most days. Fear this is going to be a 3-0 battering.

Well going on tonight’s defensive performance at times,I wouldn’t hold out much hope,although I did mention in another thread that I fancied us strongly to come away with at least a point,but regardless if we do happen to lose it’s still very early in the season ..
 
I think that's the only team in the world we're playing against and our fans are buying a draw.
So hard to win there in Anfield, I still think we have a good chance of doing it if the lineup looks like this:

We will need three goals to get anything here , you can guarantee the Dippers will get at least three game changing decisions they do every time they play us at Klanfield , and when you add our annual two defensive gifts in the first 15 minutes , it is always be an uphill battle , but we are due a win so 5-4 to us it is then
 
If we defend like we did v Hoffenheim, we will get raped.
Leaving too much space and sloppy passing will allow salad and the facekicker too many chances.

If Delph was back i'd play him left back and Laporte centre back. Laporte wasn't great tonight but think Zinchenko will struggle more vs Salah.

Can't get Bernardo in that line up, think Fern needs Stones' help in this one, which means its him or Merlin.
