I strongly believe the players mentality will be a lot stronger this time at Anfield compared to recent visits there.

Last season's games couldn't have gone any worse, with the bad ref decisions and caving in for 15-20 minutes in the first half, conceding quick goals etc.

I firmly believe our players will be relaxed this time and will play their normal game and will come away with a decent win or at least a draw, but definitely not a loss.
It will be an enormous help if they choose not to redesign our bus

It was me who said that. Well, I actually said they have one of the best front threes in the world.

If you disagree with that, I think it says more about your knowledge of football than my credentials as a Top Blue to be honest.

Hey ho. Hope we win today, don't think we will, but you never know.
They do. So do we. And we'll win.

i hope he drops Raheem if only to protect him from abuse from fans. Riyad would do the trick ;)

good luck today blues!!!
I hope we play Sterling. We can't keep mollycoddling him every time we play them. Time for Raheem to ram it down their scouse throats, and no better time than today.

Zinchenko is fine against pretty much anyone outside the top 6, but against Liverpool, not for me.

Klopp will just target him during the 90 minutes.

Mendy isn’t that great defensively either but he us better than Zinchenko and his attacking threat is just too great not to include.

Alexander-Arnold having to come up against both Sane and Mendy? He can’t keep them both quiet for 90 minutes. No chance.

I think that's fair to say about Arnold having to keep Sane & Mendy quiet for 90 sounds a big task but I don't agree that Mendy is better defensively then Zinchenko. Pretty much every game Mendy has played including teams outside the top 6 people get in behind him constantly so against Liverpool I think that he would be laughable, Salah got in behind him about 8 times in 20 minutes during the 5-0 last season. Tbh it all depends how we play if Pep and his lads bottle it again I'd go with Zinchenko due to his positioning & triangular passing but if we play how we normally do & put them under pressure Mendy would be better.

If we play mendy I dont think we can use sane. He isn't disciplined enough yet, I'd put Mahrez on the left.

You dont drop sterling the way he's playing

Under no circumstances

It's a shame that KDB is not fully fit, i would love to see him and the two Silva's in a midfield 3 with KDB as the holding player. He has the perfect skill set for me, pace, height, strength, vision and passing ability. The emergence of Bernardo may allow this in the future.
I'd Rather have David Silva as the base with Kev and Berny ahead of him aiduai the pressure. Unfortunately Kev probably won't be able to last the whole game. But I think he can last 65 minutes comfortably.

Expectations are low for me, as always at Anfield. Would be more than happy with a point. Hopefully we can’t put in a performance as bad as our last visit there.

I hope we play Sterling. We can't keep mollycoddling him every time we play them. Time for Raheem to ram it down their scouse throats, and no better time than today.

cool, i d leave him on the bench to have an impact later in the game. I think he loses possession too much of late. Riyad and Berny are playing well and would be far more settled on the ball.
