PMT (Pre-match tension) has a lot to answer for

I do take that point but to be honest I would rather play like we did last season and have Sane making the runs, and the left back be more conservative.

It seems we have had to drop Sane and move sterling from his favoured flank, IMO, to accomodate Mendy and his runs. Not sure if its a price worth paying. Can Mendy not just play more conservatively?

I do think though that having Raz on the left assists with the defensive side, Leroy isn’t biggest fan of tracking back.

It’s a weird conundrum moving forward though when in reality Mendy and Leroy want to occupy the same space.

Can see an early yellow on Mendy in dangerous freekick territory, hope he keeps his cool.

I'm not sure why mahrez is in. Hope he proves me wrong But I don't see what he will offer by cutting back and crossing with his left to Aguero. Van Dyk will love it.

Gonna be a long 90 minutes this. Called it weeks ago that Sane wouldn’t play. Raheem will get slaughtered today because he is being played in his unfavoured position. I think pep tries too hard to be clever sometimes. Quite rightly gets the praise for the incredible football we play but he isn’t untouchable.

Mahrez, Mendy and Sterling are the biggest worries for me.

I hope Sterling doesn’t ‘freeze’ again, and Mendy & Mahrez are at the proverbial races.

I don't think he has frozen in the last few visits. The last one especially he was kicked from pillar to post and should have had a definite penalty.

Referees are too often swayed by the baying ****s.
