Time to end this Anfield hoodoo. We haven't gone there in this type of form for some time, and with a better defence then we have currently.

The system we have now fills me with confidence, and the fact they don't have any fans there either changes the entire dynamic for me.

Can't wait for this one, bring it on.

Peps got some decisions to make for this, chiefly does he go into it like any other game or does he decide we need to go about it differently and adopts a slightly more pragmatic approach. We don't have to win this game, they do however with their defence in tatters its a golden chance to still the first nail in the door. I'd be content with a draw but I suspect I'll be seeing it as a missed opportunity.

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Dias
Laporte
Rodri
Gundogan
Bernardo
Foden
Cancelo
Jesus.

Walkers recovery pace is essential against their pace merchants we saw their counter attacking ability against West ham so he has to play. Cancelo at left back I think is going to be wasted as he will have to think about salah too much to get enough from him on the ball which is why I'd love to see him on the right wing with foden on the left and jesus upfront. The midfield picks itself right now.

Play the team not the name. We’re the most inform side in Europe and we need to go there and show it

So would I. Foden dos’nt give a shit about past results he just see’s a man in front of him that he knows he can beat.
Foden must start and that’s why he was rested today-he can skin either of their full backs. I wonder if he goes for false 9 and drops Jesus to the bench.

lfc win this and their title challenge is back on track. We win this and the media start asking for the season to be cancelled.

Dias, Gundog, Foden all NEED to play

I've said lfc to win but thats because VAR has consistently fallen on their side, every single time, amazing no!

I find it hard to understand your pessimism GT especially as Micheal Oliver has been appointed for the match .

We will have to beat them at their best. In much the same way as when they came to ours late last season and we wanted to put the ‘champions’ in their place.

They are going to be at it, whoever they put out. I’m confident but anyone expecting anything other than their best will probably be disappointed. Plus the ref.
