This is the key point, a draw would be fine as it keeps the 7 point gap with one game less for them to claw this back, but a win puts them 10 points behind us which over the course of 16 games is a huge defecit to pull back. Even more so when we are defending like we have been, with their injuries and no crowd we have to look at this as a game we should aim to win, but no point going all guns blazing.Probably another game ruined for City by the ref or VAR. Whatever happens though we shouldn't let it break out focus, we are 7 points in in front of them.
Our lack of success their has been unbelievable given the talent we now have, however all runs need to come to an end and I see no reason why it won't be this weekend.Love this team to death, fantastic run of form at the moment, but year after year after year of defeats after thinking “we can win this”, I unfortunately think we will carry on with the Anfield tradition and get beat.
