Their makeshift defence has the dilemma that they don’t know who is going where. Who are they picking up in the middle Mahrez or Sterling? It’s going to drag one of them out of position if one of Sterling or Mahrez drops deeper to pick the ball up. It worked so far in the away trips since the turn of the new year, if it turns into a slog in midfield we can out number them with inverted full backs. City have to do their job on their full backs and not give them time to get their heads up and put it long.
Yeah I see the thinking behind it but for me jesus gives them a harder time, they're midfielders out of position, they'll naturally struggle to pick up on his strikers movement anyway, and they're arguably more used to picking up runners from deep, plus you get more work rate from jesus than any of our forwards. Let's hope its a Pep masterclass.

The pressures on the scousers we don't have to win the game , regardless of todays result we're still winning the league no one is as good as us by a long way

I hope you are right fella, I think a win today would completely knock the stuffing out of them, with some tricky games coming up 3 points today would give us a huge advantage. I expect them to start the game very aggressive.

Good point. A false 9 should in theory test their tactical prowess more than a traditional 9 may.

I'm pretty happy with the team. The back 4 is our best one at the moment in my opinion. Could arguably have played Jesus but he can always come off the bench if needed. It's a strong team.
We havent got a great left back at the club,so no one choice is ever going to please all.The other 3 players are as good as it gets though.

Least we know it's looking like Mendy is toast come the summer and if it goes tits up today we still remain top I can't see what the panic is about...we always come unstuck at there place
