Totally agree. We want a boring gaming with few chances and 75% possession. If we push too high up, out of shape, desperate to score, then they will kill us on the break with the usual 2 or 3 chances and 2 or 3 goals whilst we have 20 chances against a packed defence and score 1.

Wear them out, moving the ball from side to side, and we win comfortably as they tire.

Our midfield is miles better up against any combination they could put out.

If they go with that 3 they'll be in trouble defensively. I think they'll play Endo instead of Elliott. We should still dominate in there.

Their midfield is set up to win the ball back not to create. Then a ball over the top to their speed merchants. I hope that Nunez plays on the left, not through the middle. Walker can take care of his speed, I am not sure that Dias can.

Its going to be the same as every single time we play there. Manage the first 15 minutes. They will come out rabid and press like maniacs. This is why I think Kovacic is important over Alvarez.
