Best chance we've had to beat these in the PL while at Anfield (with a crowd at least). Hope we take it.

It’s funny Liverpool’s win midweek will have changed the narrative going into the match but won’t mean much come kick off on Sunday.

Despite the gloom surrounding Liverpool on Sunday they were due to get Fabinho and Robertson back this weekend. They, together with Gomez, will make sure Liverpool aren’t as porous as in recent matches. Salah usually plays well against us, as does Firmino who is in great form. We should expect to play against the best version of Liverpool that will play this season, they really need a win and the crowd will be really up for it.

All the same I still believe it’s in our own hands, if we play as we can we should win. Obviously we can’t afford a poor start and let them have an early goal or two, whenever that happens at Anfield, we lose.

They’ll want to charge out of the blocks unsettle us and strike quickly before Pep can adjust. They’ll try to isolate and press Rodri so we’ll need Bernardo and Cancelo to help him out.

That being said if we keep them out early and/ or score first, their confidence will seep away. If we perform as we did for the first 75 minutes against united then it could be a great day out. Fingers crossed.

The bullshit begins, lets hope we just turn around and go home and claim the points.

Hi

Guaranteed 100% and it will be early in the game. It will be VVD who tries to do it. Zero chance of him getting sent off at Anfield especially early.
Not sure whether van dyke will chance a hard tackle against a big, strong, fast Haaland with his dodgy knee. Also Erling does not seem to get caught often with the ball at his feet.

Mane leaving and no Diaz will make it hard for them to trouble us with pace as they normally used to their advantage in the past be a different liverpool this time

Funny how in the press conference, one or two ‘journalists’ are trying to give credence to the ‘atmosphere’ and Pep says it’s the quality of their team…say how you really feel about those cunts Pep, haha.

As he mentioned, the table/gap means nowt when it comes to the dippers. We all saw this last season. They’ll most likely raise their game but it’s up to the lads to burst this so called ‘resurgence’ bubble and when it happens, I won’t stop smiling for the week.
