They seem to always conceed first even in games they win/draw.

Usually they charge at us for 20 mins then try to hold on, can't see them doing that on Sunday, go behind to us and no team gets back in the game these days.

Suspect they'll play very deep FB's will stay back, try to flood the middle and hoof ball to the one/two players left upfront.

It'll be like playing 95% of Prem teams at home for us.
They won’t do that at their gaff mate.

It’ll be the usual haymakers for 20 minutes shit.

The sheer audacity of the way we play always leaves chances and even united managed to score against us so I think they'll probably score. So, as usual, it comes down to whether we finish our chances. I'm going for a 5-2 win. Haaland 2, Foden 2 and KDB.
5 goals for City...Are Liverpool going to play with their U21 defence :)

I agree that our attack is fantastic, but a 2:1 or 3:2 win will do. We won't play Copenhagen or United at home. Our play will be more cautious and we'll be careful not to allow too many counters. Pep will be perfectly happy with a narrow win, and will choose his tactics accordingly. If we go for the jugular, we may found ourselves 2 goals down. We'll be careful and not too direct.

Now, if Liverpool go 2 goals down and open up chasing the game, 5 goals for us will be on :) It's a possibility.

Mentally, there's no doubt they did themselves and the fanbase a favour with a 7-1 win, plus Salad showing some form, and Klopp has jumped on it to ramp up their chances. Why wouldn't they.

Quality wise City are way ahead this season, that Rangers game doesn't change that, and we go there with a great chance of 3 points.

Liverpool are hard to beat at home, i dont think that's going to change, and City have laboured there traditionally. But getting Haaland in behind that defence could cause all manner of problems...

we should have enough, but could probably have done without them trouncing rangers last night. No doubt about it Salah will have that confidence back.

Expect both teams to bag at least 2 tbh.

It is their way and used to be very effective.
A difficult midfield decision for them , youthful energy or experience and guile.
Firminio and nunes ?
Robertson to start ?

They have the more difficult decisions.

Our midfield should be running riot against theirs it's old and slow.
We did last season at the Etihad and both Fabinho and Thiago were lucky to stay on the pitch. Remember that amazing jinky run last season at Anfield when Bernardo just ran rings around Henderson and Co, hopefully more of the same on Sunday.
