Why does this continue to look like the same players in the same positions that has seen us get bummed the last 5 games? Lewis and gundogan is a disaster.

I had hoped for a proper 442, with KDB in the side too. That's not to be, as it will be a disjointed Walker, Dias and Akanji trio, to allow a Lewis to become aimlessly involved in midfield. I just don't get it! How many times do we need to keep trying this 3 at the back and Lewis in the midfield disaster, before someone says 'enough is enough'? It's made even worse by Walker playing. Any hope I had has evaporated completely.

Really didn't want to see all of Gundogan, Bernardo and Lewis in the line up. Lewis is great when the rest of the team is great but we aren't he'll be under loads of pressure in midfield and he just can't stay on his feet. Bernardo was awful midweek.

Happy Dias is back and Gvardiol needed dropping for his own sake, as he's been flogged. Ake hopefully will do better against Salah.

Baby Ruud is also a fantastic set pieces threat.

This is probably the weakest City midfield since 2007

I said last week that our 2008-09 midfield of Kompany, de Jong, Elano and Ireland would all get in our midfield at the moment with Rodri and De Bruyne injured.

You know things are bad when people are asking for players to start at Anfield who, unless they've been going to the academy stadium, they've never seen 90 minutes from them before. And saying it like Pep has fucked up not playing them!
