Strange feeling we might just win this against all odds, way too much negativity around the team to not see a big response.

Why is Stones in so many teams, he’s injured no?
I am solidly depressed after reading the posts in this thread. It is desperation corner and it's hard to see an easy way out. I think we need an early goal and a red card for the dippers to get something out of this. The one hope that I will cling to valiantly until Sunday is that over confidence, poor play and bad luck will decend upon those fuckers and we manage to salvage something.

since the takeover there were so many times we were in otherwise good form even under Mancini, Pelle and Pep and we went there in rather good form or middle of a good run and shit the bad and were outrun, outfought or they were there for taking but we underperformed to make it count.
to go there after our worst set of results since the Pearce era with third of the squad injured or about 40% fit, the rest looking too tired and way out of form, in the meantime dippers look like flying high with Salah in his best ever form scoring-assisting every game almost.

hard to see us not losing this by at least 2-3 goals and open up the gap to 11 points after 13 rounds. could say this is down to recruitment only, but Slot took over the squad from Klopp added only Chiesa who has yet to play 45 minutes imo, and getting a big tune out of them despite lack of proper recruitment this summer at their side. Pep certainly needs to get more out of current squad than this. but if dippers spent last few windows not getting Mcallisster, Konate, Szoboszlai, Diaz but more of the Nunez type transfers flops, they wouldnt not be here now.

City is the one having a massive pressure and thats what counts.
I know that but for anyone to catch liverpool they start needing to drop points soon.
Any dropped brings the top teams closer together.
Win and they are 11 points clear of us.
Draw or lose and Chelsea and the bumnal are on their coat tails.
This is a pivotal weekend.
We could be as close as 5 points behind them or as much as 11.

Ah nothing I love more than sanctimonious scouse rats all over social media telling us what shit fans we are for having the temerity to show some displeasure with a few boos for throwing away a 3 goal lead in 15 minutes.
They insist they don't care about us whatsoever yet media platforms are inundated with the cunts opinionating on our fans and club in comparison to the paragon of loyalty and pinnacle of vocal love and support to which they are both deserved and demand as paid up cult members.

Well I have an answer to all you self styled cultists with an overinflated worth of you own opinions. I'm not interested in your opinion, you can shove it up you're oversized scouse arseholes. You will never suffer the adversity of a trip to League 1 due to incompetence of leadership, although all true mancs would fucking love it should it ever come to pass. You're club loyalty will never be tested like ours has been for a succession of worldliness years of enduring increasingly pathetic managers with increasingly pathetic players, only to see it rebuilt within a generation to remarkable success.

We wear our "shit times" like a badge of honour, we don't deny it, never speak of it and pretend it never happened like you do with yours. We don't cry when other fanbases remind us of it and claim its some sort of crime to remind you what shithouses you were, what abhorrent things you did, the worst fans in England by a mile. No matter what CIty do or don't do we will never be despised or detested like you or your fans are by literally the rest of the country. So spare me the sanctimony of your lamentations on twitter or talk sport, were sick of being lectured by cult lead, pompous, self pitying arseholes with oversized, inflated egos and values of 'this means more" just fuck off.

I think play this similar to the 0-0 a few years back when Laporte played left back and Mahrez missed the last minute penalty to win it....that game proved that Pep can be pragmatic and hopefully he can set us up in a similar way Sunday....having Dias back in the heart of the defence would help massively
