Liverpool are 11/10 to win this.
given the lack to our central midfield, and the startlingly different trajectories of confidence in the 2 teams, i find that fact that bookies have Liverpool to win this match less than 1 in 2 times quite amazing actually. I think we'll struggle, unfortunately.

Looking back at past games against Liverpool when they've beaten us at Anfield it's more so down to the fact that they would be more energetic in games and basically win the fight, Football second.

I was happy when Slot said after the game that he wasn't happy with the way they played, The way Liverpool played last night is not a Slot performance, It was more so the fans embracing it and a aggression performance. Slot has a really slow approach in how he wants his football to be played which I'm hoping it will suit us more as to there performance last night which I don't think we can deal with at this moment in time.

This Sunday is a big indication of what way the players are going forward. If they can’t get up for this game and get a result then we have bigger problems than most of us think we have already.

Previous years I’ve gave them a pass because Liverpool knew they HAD to get a result against us at Anfield as we were always a couple points ahead or a couple of points off.

Knowing if they lose Sunday we’re 11 points behind having lost 4 league games in a row, be no excusing it. Even a decent performance & a 0-0 draw would do me know at this stage but I don’t think there’s a hope in hell of us keeping a clean sheet there.

1-1 in a 50/50 game, get the confidence up a little bit, Liverpool will have a blip but if we lose Sunday that blip they have will be of no concern to us.
We need to halt this slump if anything is going to happen for us in the PL this season. Some would say it's unfortunate that it's this game where that needs to happen, but hey ho. On the other side some would say it's ideal- that's if we got a win or to a lesser extent a draw. We're just unrecognisable from the team we know, with the reasons for it having been discussed to death.

We're not winning this. Both teams are opposite ends of the confidence spectrum.

It's not a fixture I think many are optimistic about and rightly so, but how many times have we gone to Anfield absolutely flying in the league and collapsed. Not played anything like what we're capable of. Maybe this will be a game where we dig in and it comes together for us.

We have nothing to lose, we’re all expecting to get beat, maybe even hammered. But what is shite is Blues on here bigging those bastards up, they get enough of that from the sycophantic media. Fuck them, we turn up on Sunday as underdogs, but let’s just have a go, they’re not all that. They’ll never get any respect from me, they’ll boo our every touch, attack our fans, maybe attack the team coach again. And yet there’s still Blues on here who wax lyrical about them.

Nobody here likes them but we have to be realistic. I have to agree that they're not as good as the media are making out but they are getting results at the moment which is all that matters. Given all our injuries and lack of confidence, added to the fact we have only won three times there in sixty eight games, a defeat seems inevitable. What we need is whoever plays to rekindle the fight and guts that won us the treble and in typical City fashion go and upset the odds. Here's hoping.

I agree with all of that El Chapo, but nobody on here should be giving them any respect.
