So a midfield 3 of Rico, Bernie and Gundo it is then.Biggest, tallest, fastest, hungriest team we can field!
They are faster, generally bigger & taller, and don’t let many in while scoring for fun!
VVD, Nunez, and Gakpo are all dangerous in the air.
But, as I’ve said, 95 minutes like the first 75 minutes against Feyenoord and we will have nothing to fear. On the pre-match warm-up, the coaches should point up into the stands and show the defence where Row Z is near the halfway line, so they have something to aim at when needed!
Things never work out the way you expect in football.
Not true. Plenty of times things work out the way fans expect. People expect City to win the title, and City win the title. Of course, there are surprises and shocks. But most of the time the favourites win.
We have been poor recently, but also unlucky, failing to score from many good chances. If we are a bit lucky at Anfield, we can win. Might appear as a shock result, but luck plays a significant role in football. Convert 2-3 half-chances and we are likely to get a result.
You just spent two paragraphs going in circles and basically agreeing with me mate ;)
If KDB isn't fit enough to play a role after 3 or 4 weeks sat on the bench serious questions need to be asked. If he can't make a contribution may it be time for him to move on in January? We are in bad need of a positive showing from him and hopefully this starts on Sunday. If not, sadly we may be witnessing the beginning of the end for Kev at City.A good team defends and attacks as a whole. At least since 1970 :)
Also, we went all in vs Spurs and got smashed. We need to be pragmatic and solid at Anfield. A big loss is the last thing we need now.
KDB has been injured and isn't in his best form. That's why he's been on the bench for the last month or so. Precisely because we have problems in defence, we can't afford to carry half fit players at Anfield. Give him a start or two against lesser teams before throwing him against top teams.
I hope he is fit enough to start and play like his old self, but chances are he is isn't. If we need him, sub him on with 20 minutes to go and hope for the best.
I wouldn’t be moving anyone out in January with the way our squad has been stretched this season. If anything we could do with bringing 1 or 2 in.If KDB isn't fit enough to play a role after 3 or 4 weeks sat on the bench serious questions need to be asked. Not sure who the guy was selling "fake tickets". This Steve guy named himself "Big Steve", He has a YouTube channel and does podcasts with other YouTube idiots.
He does some work for City now, I have know idea exactly what work they give him, I know they sent him to Portman Road for interviews and also had him working before the Feyenoord game at home.
I suppose all these YouTubers like to see themselves as "the voice" of there own supporters for their clubs, Well I think that's what they like to think...

Irrelevant of the result this game will show us & Pep who has the bollocks to be with us on the forward journey and who isn't arsed/have made their money etc.Hoping for the best but expecting the worst for this. If they play like they did against Spurs then we will get battered. Heart is saying we will do a typical City and go there and win but head is saying we'll probably get beat.
Regardless of current form let's get behind the lads when they need it. Worst case we could end up battling the rags for 12th place this season!
Wow, possibly our best ever player and you'd boot him out mid season just because he, like most of the team, have been struggling. If KDB isn't fit enough to play a role after 3 or 4 weeks sat on the bench serious questions need to be asked. Not ideal of course but I fear unless he gets back in the Grove soon his departure, highly likely in the summer anyway, might be brought forward. The next few weeks will tell a tale.I wouldn’t be moving anyone out in January with the way our squad has been stretched this season. If anything we could do with bringing 1 or 2 in.
