The only way we lose this game is if the officials give them a game changing decision , it happens virtually every time we go to thier midden , there is always a lucky deflection or a once in a lifetime 30 yarder from on of their many water carriers to consider
If none of the above happens there is only one winner no matter what their crowd do , they are simply the inferior football team , the only players i would take from them is Robertson and Salah , the rest wouldnt make our bench including their thirty odd year old crocked centre back.
If its our day we win 2-0 or 3-0 if they get a "decision" or get lucky they could hang on for grim death and win 1-0
After the Chelski and PSG performances i am supremely confident , where as they have played the mighty Brentford and conceded three poor goals and a Porto team who's goalie threw four of their goals in, why are we worried about these f*ckers ? even Chelski were the better team with ten men the other week.

But but but I was informed last night that the reason we smashed them last season, was because the greatest CB that's ever played in the world didn't play ?

I genuinely asked was he playing v a team from championship last Saturday who put 3 past them.

I refer to him as ten bob head and the hoofer, greatest CB my ring

I’m more in talking about his leadership skills and not his win ratio, we need leaders on the pitch tomorrow so everyone is focused.
That was my point though. His leadership skills did nothing to ever get us a win or even a draw at Anfield.

It’s games like this that I miss Vinnie in the changing room, he would definitely be shouting ‘it’s the first 20 min, they will come at us be strong” no mistakes lads, I hope some fucker else is shouting this.
Haha, he scored a world class own goal at Anfield that should have gifted them their first premier league title, saved only by Gerrard. Time really is the great healer.

Just looked at the record books

City 5 Dippers 0 (But Mane got sent off)
Perhaps their players and supporters who left a half time should show some bottle when they have a man sent off for assault

City 4 Dippers 0 (But,but we were pissed)
Unprofessional surrender monkeys on the night , the fact it wasnt 10-0 is the only mystery , embarrassing

Dippers 1 City 4 (But,but, but we had no fans)
If your football team can only win big games because their support is in the stadium speaks volumes about their poor mentality , lilly livered bottlers who need a kick up their arse from their feral fans to put some effort in.

Not once can these f&ckers hold their hands up and admit they were hammereed by the better side, maybe it was Chelsea's fault.

Spoke to a Liverpool fan yesterday at work and he's supremely confident. You know that kind of smug, we're better than you even if you beat us because more kids in Asia have our clubs pyjamas, kind of confidence? Known mainly to United and Liverpool fans in my experience.

Also sure that they will find a way to stop all their players going to the AFCON because staying and helping Liverpool FC will mean more to them than helping their countries, especially with covid rife. I did smirk at the stereotype stereotyping himself.

Here hoping they don't turn up tomorrow.

Hammer and tongues football. High risk game style. Anyone could win, depends on who gets the breaks.

I also hope sterling plays, he could dispel all his current demons with a commanding performance.

Dias and Stones would be ideal at the back.

We have had some poor decisions go against us at home and away at Anfield against them, but we’ve also been there and been dicked with no influence from the ref.

They can quite feasibly beat us tomorrow with no game changing incidents. They’re good at the back, hard working in midfield and excellent on the break; and we’re weakest in transition after the initial press and aren’t brilliant at converting our chances.

If we play well tomorrow, even if we dominate them, it doesn’t mean we’ll win. Alternatively, we could play poorly and nick a draw or win. Every game is different and performances don’t always match the result. Neither of our previous games have any bearing on tomorrow. We were quite average against Arsenal and won 5-0, Arsenal started well and should have gone 0-1 up but soonafter we scored from our first two attacks of the game. We struggled against Southampton and could have lost but managed to draw 0-0. We we were excellent against Chelsea and won 0-1, we were almost as good again in Paris but lost 2-0… Liverpool were all over the place at times against Brentford and could have lost but every single player who plays minutes for them tomorrow could have a better game than last week and contribute to a whole that’s a great team performance. Every game is different and anything could happen.

I don’t think they’re quite as good as they were a couple of years ago, but they’re still capable of beating us.

The previous two games do have a bearing because as it refers to current form , as you say we were average against Arsenal and Southampton , if we play like we did at Chelsea and PSG no team in this league can live with us and that includes the cheeky rascals who we play tomorrow

Question to all. Do we have a Specialist set piece coach. I know Liverpool employ a throw in coach and Villa have one too. Apart from our top class football we play and we are the best in the world.. our corners are a little lacking in this direction. (Hope we score off a corner now) I’m going for a City win. Our Kev looked a little tired so wouldn’t surprise me if he were rested. My prediction Sterling to score in this fixture come on city
Carlos Vicens was promoted from the U18s to first team coaching in the summer, with a remit to not only work on our set pieces but also to assist players to transition from the EDS to the first team.
The previous set piece coach, Nicolas Jover, left the club…

He "could", but why would he do it at this time of asking? "Hope" shouldn't get you a start.
