Its not just City increasing prices , a friend has just brought a ticket for Spurs v Liverpool £71 . Makes our prices look good .

Given the fact that the average salary in London is 40% higher than in Manchester, that's cheaper than us. In fact, given salaries in different regions, our match day ticket prices must be the most expensive in the country.
youre making stuff up now just to suit your argument.

What have I made up? I got that figure from a government website: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/ashe/patterns-of-pay/1997---2013-ashe-results/ref-tables-pop-2013.xls" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/ashe/patt ... p-2013.xls</a>

We have 3 season tickets, and I have just bought a Cityzens card for my wife, so that we can all go to the occasional match as a family.... bought a Liverpool ticket today for £60.... an expensive night out by the time we add in food, transport and a few drinks....

I also see that it goes on sale for 0 points today, combination of Monday night, Bank Holiday and pricing may well mean it doesn't sell out, which would be a telling damnation on modern day football policies and tv values, if the game between the two best teams of last season has empty seats. 20% year on year price hikes are not sustainable in any business.

That is me just booked my Ticket, this will be my 1st visit to The Etihad and cannot wait, 1st off many all being well with getting tickets.

Enjoy your first visit Blue - great match for your first. Monday night in August against Liverpool - should be a great night.

Have we found out what the dearest tickets are yet for the Liverpool match?

That won't be difficult.

Just check Viagogo.

I meant sold by the club. jrb.
