You were the one in the first place that went out of your way to ask for City fans not to get a banner, it was you that felt the need to post that so quite clearly you feel the need to talk on behalf of all the other City fans claiming that we don't want a banner. Don't play the victim when you quoted him initially.

For what it's worth I think a banner saying 'Justice For The 96' to be held up during the minutes silence would be a top notch thing to do. So what if it's not our fight? Let them

know that there are other passionate football fans who care dearly about those who lost
their lives in such a tragic accident, and want to show our respect. Show them we are

nothing like that lot down the road who last week were chanting "The Sun was right, murderers". Show them that we as a football club and fans are classy enough to put these things aside for a minute before the game to make a gesture that may just warm the hearts of the families who lost loved ones 25 years ago.
Well said mate.

Clearly there is a need for some clarification as some have a little myopia.
We are City and should respect their loss.
However, we should not as a club, display a political message as not all City fans agree on this message.
Fans who wish to make a gesture should feel free but should not presume to represent the views of others.

Wonder if Everton went round and asked all of their fans if it was ok,

Or John Wardle lowering the flags to half mast in 2007 and laying a wreath at the Haillsborough memorial garden. Should definitely have asked every fan, player, director and tea lady before he did that.

Please do not presume to know my view on this emotive matter. You have your view and I have mind
But do not also assume you speak for the 3k of blues there by wanting a banner And wanting the club to pay for it as well!
Buy your own and display yourself if you feel so strongly

You were the one in the first place that went out of your way to ask for City fans not to get a banner, it was you that felt the need to post that so quite clearly you feel the need to talk on behalf of all the other City fans claiming that we don't want a banner. This.

What a wonderful gesture. I hope it comes to fruition to show our support for those families. It could so easily have been us. Justice for the 96.

hardly the same but some people never understand the bigger picture.

I'll respect their silence then cheer my team on.

Yeah we don't understand the bigger picture. I bet it really annoys you doesnt it, how people are so gullible and right-on over Hillsborough.
