For what it's worth I think a banner saying 'Justice For The 96' to be held up during the minutes silence would be a top notch thing to do. So what if it's not our fight? Let them
know that there are other passionate football fans who care dearly about those who lost
their lives in such a tragic accident, and want to show our respect. Show them we are
nothing like that lot down the road who last week were chanting "The Sun was right, murderers". Show them that we as a football club and fans are classy enough to put these things aside for a minute before the game to make a gesture that may just warm the hearts of the families who lost loved ones 25 years ago.
Clearly there is a need for some clarification as some have a little myopia.
We are City and should respect their loss.
However, we should not as a club, display a political message as not all City fans agree on this message.
Fans who wish to make a gesture should feel free but should not presume to represent the views of others.
Wonder if Everton went round and asked all of their fans if it was ok,
