Liverpool bus damaged on journey back from Etihad Stadium today

Fuck if you condescending prick, I’ve not seen any damage I’ve heard about a stone getting thrown. You got loads of photos then I take it you fucking bell end
Unfortunately pal, just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean that it didn't happen. I haven't seen it either but the fact that City have themselves said that the Liverpool coach was damaged by a brick, suggests that it did. Then again, Blue Tube didn't see it, so maybe they're wrong.

No need to get all angry and bash your keyboard mate. Something was obviously thrown at their coach and all it does is makes our fans look as bad as their reprobate fans.

You have my word. It was damaged but it was kids not fans.
If someone knows it was non City fans chucking a stone at their coach, why were they allowed to report it as an attack by City fans?

I bet the same kids or whoever it was chuck stones at buses, trains and trams all the time. Never hear City apologising to tfgm do we.

The Dippers have played the victim card, "again" and we've fuckin fallen for it, "again" with a pathetic apology.
Our apolgy makes us look guilty.

It's every single time with them, they look for anything to release a story about (grafitti on toilet doors anyone).

They are a pathetic club and fanbase that can do no wrong.

The Veruca Salts of football!

Heartbroken...not.

Just out of interest, do you know what the FA has decided the offensive part is: just "always the victims", or the "it's never your fault" as well?

It's a good chant, evidenced by the hand-wringing it's causing, and tuneful too. A few tweaks may sort it. I suspect there are more chants to use against them than they have time and energy to try and stop.
Slightly modified from one I posted on another thread

"It's always our fault
It's always our fault
We can't say the V word
It's always our fault"

Fuck 'em. We should never have kicked off on time. If we'd delayed KO we'd have put the spotlight right on these rancid, feral fuckers.
Pep knows what he knows. There was absolutely no attempt made to protect our lads.

I’ve just had a thought (it happens, live with it, I have to) how can the FA or anyone impose sanctions on something that doesn’t happen INSIDE our premises or grounds? The police can, of course, arrest and charge the culprits if they find them. But they can’t fine the club or sanction them surely? So why are the club worried about apologising for us, the fans?
Or does that not make sense?

I don’t personally think there was any need for the statement but if you read it carefully, and you’d have to assume these things are worded carefully, they don’t acknowledge that anyone connected to the club was responsible for the reported coach incident, or apologise for it. Indeed they make a point of saying it reportedly happened away from the ground on a residential street.

It’s the second part of the statement and the nonsense about hateful chanting that is confusing the issue a little I think.

No it doesnt
It makes Liverpool fans look bad but it doesn't make ours look bad?

Fair enough, it's a matter of opinion.
Personally, I don't care when Liverpool fans attack our bus etc., as it shows them up for being moronic scumbags. However, I cringe when City fans do it, as it's embarrassing for the club and our fans. But that's just my opinion, of course.

So what time did The Dippers coach leave the Etihad?
I would guess maybe 45-60 minutes after the game had finished and the vast majority of the crowd had well dispersed.
Therefore, could have been any random local individual who carried out the crime (even a RAG)

How many city fans threw stuff at the dippers coach???!!!

This coach attack is pure nonesense , if our club had anything about them they would ask for the time and place of the single brick that was thrown, also a copy off the estimate of the damage to the coach , to prove just how trivial and innacurate this load of bollocks really is.
Are the Dippers comparing 3,000 feral lowlifes throwing thousands of missiles and writing off a coach due to over £50k of damage to a single brick thrown at a coach which has probably been polished out with a bit of T-Cut.
Tired of our football club taking this shite from the Dippers ,we need to grow a pair establish some facts and show the Dippers for what they are , whinging , gutless , envious , jealous wankers , who play the victim card to disguise the real problem , their team is in decline , their manager is looking for a way out , and their owners have no intention of investing in the club.

Why does it make our fans look bad ? Ask anyone who attends a home match how many feral rags hang round trying to pick off Blues. Maybe, just maybe it's a rag.

Bloody hell....the 76, that takes me back, used to get it from the terminus on Lord Lane all the to the end at maine Road. Didn't the 71 start at the same place and end up at the old toilet?
I used to get on at the terminus and my mate would jump on at the Holy Family church. It only went to Lever street. Had to get another bus from Piccadilly to Maine rd.
Not sure about the 71 but there was the 7.

Manchester City FC has been made aware that Liverpool FC’s coach sustained damage on its return journey following today’s game.
We understand an object was thrown towards the coach in a residential area.

Incidents of this kind are totally unacceptable, and we strongly condemn the actions of the individual(s) responsible.

We will fully support Greater Manchester Police’s investigation into this incident in any way we can.

Additionally, the Club is disappointed to have heard inappropriate chants from home fans during the game today.

We regret any offence these chants may have caused and will continue to work with supporter groups and officials from both clubs to eradicate hateful chanting from this fixture.

You do not know the facts , the attack was in a "residential" area of their route back to the M62 , why are the club and you presuming it is one of our fans , or did you read it in The Sun.
