Liverpool close investigation relating to coins being thrown at Pep

From the Liverpool FC Echo.

However, after studying CCTV coverage and statements from stewards and fans close to the incident, Liverpool found evidence of coins being thrown but have been unable to identify any individuals involved.

(In the next 4 paragraphs, LFC’s and the Cults propaganda mouthpiece adds….)

In a volatile encounter, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was later sent off by referee Anthony Taylor with the Reds afterwards condemning chants from City supporters referencing the Hillsborough disaster.

City are yet to make public any criticism of the chants and, the day after the game, were contacted by the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance to ask for a public statement condemning the songs.

City responded with an email which said they "strongly condemn the chanting or singing of songs with connotations to footballing tragedies" and said: "Ahead of the next meeting between the two clubs, we will contact all of our Season Ticket and Matchday Members to reiterate that this type of of hateful chanting and singing has no place in the game and ask the vast majority of our fans who would never engage in such behaviour to call out and report any individual that chooses to do so."

Liverpool play their first game after the World Cup at City on December 22 after the pair were drawn together in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

So, FSG & LFC found evidence of coins being thrown, but couldn’t find who threw the coins.(good one, you Scouse lying c*nts!)

And did nothing at the time.

Did LFC find and ban the Liverpool fan who let off a smoke bomb and held it up in the main stand?

Did the f*ck! He or She got away with it as well.
They are still investigating the fans who let them off during the Charity Shield match, (bearing in mind it was 2 days after the FA, Prem League and police said they would be clamping down on flares/smoke things) so they won't get round to this incident until 2025.

And then declare he couldn't be identified.

What a surprise.... Who is even remotely shocked? Can you imagine the attention it would get if any manager in the league had coins thrown directly at them by any other set of fans, they'd be a manhunt.

This just adds flames to the fire for the carabao Cup game. City will rightly sing the nothing to do with hillsborough "always the victims" chant louder than ever in a few weeks time and we will get coins rained down on us in response. Still cannot believe we've actually given those cunts the top tier. If ever there was grounds for a reduced allocation its this game.

But our cctv works, give them enough rope.

As a club, team and fan base they can do what they want and they know it. So they do. Hillsborough is their get out of jail card and they will make sure it always will be. They have the football authorities and the media exactly where they want them - in their pocket. Like it or not they have won the media war and nothing is going to change that now or in the foreseeable future.

Exactly true. Quietly rolled out a statement yesterday they were adding more safe standing.

The very same club who campaigned against it for so many years and has a stand where thousands have continuously stood up despite that.

It was a certain group of Liverpool fans, I don't have to name them, who continually campaigned against 'safe standing', and along with the Government, Ministers and certain MP's blocked and delayed the implementation of safe standing at other grounds for years. Whilst this group where campaigning against the implementation of safe standing at other grounds, Liverpool fans were stood on the KOP. To my recollection, that group of Liverpool fans never criticised their fellow Liverpool fans standing on the KOP in public. Just another example of Liverpool fans wielding too much power and authority over other clubs and their fans.
