Although the FA are the ones to administer the fine. I'm pretty sure carabou as sponsors were consulted about this. Do you want MK Dons in the next round or the dippers with their 770,000,000 fans worldwide who will be exposed to their drinks products??

Are people under the impression that Liverpool didn't want to get kicked out of this competition? Could have fooled me, because they've done their best to get knocked out of it ASAP every other year.

Absolutely. And despite knowing he wasn’t registered it absolutely wasn’t their fault that they played him anyway.

Same thing happened to Sunderland a couple of years ago and likewise they only received a fine.
