1st half killed it. Better in the 2nd half yet still lacked quality of last weeks starting 11 which we needed to beat their press. Feel sorry for the lad Steffen but I wouldn't have been starting him in that game. We also still need a striker.

On reflection the goalie had a shocker. Ederson may even go in at half time 0-0. Ferna was poor first half but recovered well, ditto the attackers.

Ake Stones Zinchenko all showed great defending for me against probably the best forward line in europe.

They scored a brilliant header and it should have been 0-1 at half time - we were just starting to knock it about well and then second goal ends the game really and we’re all over the place for the rest of the half.

Probably damages Steffen’s career and it will ruin him

Far more dissapointed with the 2 2 draw last week to be honest.
Liverpool were not even that good, brain fart from our second choice keeper and a brilliant volley that goes wide 9/10 times. Just how it goes sometimes. Jesus missed 1 on 1 chance was a game changer and another proof that we need a striker, as if we didnt already know. Not sure where we go with Sterling.
Not going to point a finger at Pep neither. A much needed rest for KDB, Ederson, Laporte, Rodri etc.
