Didn't play well, if we'd taken our chances we'd have probably won it, just like last weekend. Oh well, we'll all get over it, two bigger pots to win. Need to use the feeling of today an make sure it doesn't happen again this season.

I don't think we played anywhere as bad as the match day thread described it. I had accepted 1-3 then Bernie the bastard scored to make me think we're gonna do a Spurs.

It's gone.

Still 2 more trophies to play for and win.
 
The most disappointing thing is that that’s probably the worst we’ve played all season and yet we really could have got something out of that Liverpool team even though we were 3-0 down.
They have a way of getting there but they really aren’t all they’re made out to be. Our second team playing badly could have taken them.

If we go on to win the PL and the CL none of us will even remember the semi final of the FA cup.
I’d take the PL on his own.
 
They've now beaten us in 90 mins over three games.

If we both get to the CL final that's an undeniable psychological edge.

Win the league and pray Chelsea or Palace do them in the final and shut the cunts up.
 
At half-time I would've just been glad for it not to be a cricket score to be honest.

It's a shame Jesus didn't tuck that chance away as it would've set up the end of the game perfectly. I think that's the main difference between the two squads, they have clinical forwards and we don't.

As long as we go on and win the league I can live with them winning the FA Cup.
 
Ah well. Shit happens sometimes. Get the league sorted and the CL as a bonus.
 
Last thing I’m gonna post on this subject. Should Chelsea win really may be a blessing in disguise we are out with fixture pile up

OK, if we really can’t compete in all 3 competitions and one had to be dropped, that’s fine, but now he has to win the League and CL or else he’s just thrown away a major trophy for nothing.

So you would prefer to take the risk, possibly still not win it, and compromise our chances of winning the PL and CL? If only it were that simple. Fact is, if it was we'd all be managers.

Sterling was fucking rubbish and him and Jesus probably got us an extra tine shot today . Zinchenko not good enough steffen a joke of a keeper but as long has pep stuck to his principles that’s ok . Ake pkayed well ferdy is shot and shouldn’t play again. Mahrez changed the game but what grated on me more today was sterling taking that free kick fucking criminal that was .
 
Meh. Never had us to win this one, but we would genuinely have had a chance with our off-day B-team if Steffen hadn't gone Suicide Mode in the first half. Obviously disappointing to lose, but there are much bigger games coming and at this point I do genuinely back us against this Liverpool side. I'll let JAY-Z say it for me:

 
Very poor squad management eg Zinchenko was cold as fuck.

If Pep wasn't going to bring on senior subs then we should have had a bench of kids.

The scoreline sadly flattered us, dips sat back the majority of the second half as they're shit scared of us and we still fucked about at the back.

Anyway I'm out of the board until the morning, it's going to get toxic on here, it's started already in a couple of threads.
 
Either we play Ederson and our normal game, or Steffen and stop fucking about in our own penalty area. On Pep/Steffen this.

Would be lovely to win PL and CL now and they can have their domestic cups if it comes to that
 
Ake and Stones fantastic.

The squad needs to evolve. A few players need to move on and city might need to start prioritising the trophies we try to win. It’s admirable to try for 4 but it’s not very likely to happen any season. The domestic treble was some achievement. Still 2 to go for. It would not have mattered who we played today, total crap from start to finish.

On we go to Brighton. Chin up blues, we didn’t deserve to win that game.

Zin, sterling. Steffan, Fern need replacing for me. Thanks for the service.
