It seemed we were trying too hard. Attitude is wonderful. Players were probably too happy to play football together again. Or rusty after time off. Whatever.
We deserved the win no doubt. Definitely the best team in the night. And if not, we still beat them scousers. Love it.
Let’s not make conclusions after this game. It was like a first game of a new season. Another 2-3 games and all players will be back to their best.

A nice Christmas Present for us.
Was more than just a Caraboa Cup game.
Was Liverpool.... a team most of us have a pathological hatred of.....it gives us a psychological edge on the resumption of the Season.
We had lost this, we would be on a downer until Leeds.
We won onwards, and upwards.
