They will just out run us and Núñez for me will score plenty of goals he does have something about him more raw than Haaland though

Totally agree with Waspish on this one, we're going to be so undercooked in this game that our performance will probably be all over the place, whereas Liverpool have had three or four friendlies already and will be ready.
Hopefully City surprise me and are ready to go

I went to the game at the Academy yesterday and sadly I think you're right. It's a shame we couldn't have got a few more first teamers involved. I like the way our academy lads play football but I can't say I saw anyone who was anywhere near a first team game of this level. Dippers will go all out for it but they'll be burnt out by April as usual. We'll pace ourselves and use the game to integrate World Cup players back into the team and probably be champions in May. File this game in the bigger fish to fry category.

Saw a quote from pep saying we will have 4 or 5 1st team players available for this game.
Presumably that means only those who didn't go to the world cup and those out in the group stage.
Surely others could be available.

I suspect Pep is playing mind games. We should hve a lot more players than that available, including all the England contingent.

Seeing as most European leagues don’t start back until mid January and Pep is prioritising the CL I can see why.

Shame as this will be our grandsons(7) first City game.

Never want to lose a game but going out now might be a blessing with the amount of games we have coming up
