I thought they were all back on Monday? It isn’t the same as a pre season though because most have been playing and training and don’t need match fitness. I guess they need to “gel” again but to me the best way to do it would be to play together competitively.
 
Why has he given some of them an extended break yet Henderson was back a few days later for them?
I don't get it

We see players especially at the dips falling out of their own arses at the end of the season on a regular basis.

There's so much negativity about this game on here (not you) it's almost like the flappers haven't had chance for a good flap for a month or so and have gone into overdrive.

Not sure it's negativity it's realism.
Given the players we are likely to have and the players they have available, i.e. Salah, Firminho etc it's hard to see how we are going to get a result.
It's not our fault, it's the stupid authorities.
 
I don't get that players who exited the world Cup early (last 16 or groups) aren't available.

If there was no World Cup most of our squad will have featured in 5 or 6 games up to now in a normal season. Most of them have only played a few games in the world Cup at best. Some have only played in dispatches and had sub appearances.

They can't be unfit. Players like Grealish, Ederson and Phillips hardly kicked a ball.

It's hard enough playing against this Vile lot when we are full strength. Never mind with a few kids chucked in.

Hopefully we can win and get our season flowing again.
